Hey I'm Saara

My personal journey with Ayurveda began in 2018, driven by health challenges I was experiencing and a deep curiosity about the healing potential of plants. Growing up in an Egyptian household, I was surrounded by natural remedies, the healing power of food, and a rich culinary tradition passed down from my mother. As I discovered the world of holistic healing, I realized that plants, food, and philosophy not only improve physical health, but also contribute to emotional and spiritual balance.

About me

In 2020, I took my journey to India where I immersed myself in the world of Ayurveda. I lived there for four years, a pivotal period of my life as I earned my certification in Ayurveda practice. During those years, I had the privilege of training under experienced doctors, gaining rich practical experience that deepened my understanding of the principles of Ayurveda. In India, I realized that Ayurveda is not just a system of treatment, but a profound philosophy that harmonizes with nature and unites body, mind, and spirit.

 

My years in India were pivotal in my personal development, as I studied Ayurveda and lived it in my daily life. I learned from different teachers, interacted with diverse cultures, and experienced firsthand how Ayurveda impacts balance and health. My journey did not stop at theory, but rather applied Ayurveda to daily life, giving me deeper insights into how ancient knowledge can be used in today’s world.

 

This personal journey has shaped my mission here at Ayurveda Diaries. I aim to share the wisdom I have gained, both from my studies and from my personal experience, bridging the gap between the ancient teachings of Ayurveda and modern scientific understanding. I believe that the wisdom of Ayurveda is universal and is part of every culture. Whether through food, herbs, or healing practices, the principles of Ayurveda are present all over the world, waiting to be rediscovered in our kitchens and everyday lives. As I continue to learn and teach, my goal is to help others connect with their heritage and embrace Ayurveda as a powerful tool for self-discovery, well-being, and balance. Let’s embark on this journey together, inspired by the wisdom of Ayurveda, and explore how we can heal and thrive through a deeper understanding of the science and philosophy it offers.
